Buyers Premium

All lots are subject to a buyers premium of 20% plus VAT.

Live Internet Bidding

Live internet bidding can be carried out through our bidding partners, easyliveauction.com, the-saleroom.com, and invaluable.com.

Additional costs apply to live internet bidding. We currently reccomend Easy Live Auction who charge a flat fee of £3.00 per auction, regardless of total spend and number of lots purchased, provided the buyer selects this option when registering to bid. The-saleroom.com currently charge a premium of 3%+VAT for lots bought via bidding on their platform, Invaluable.com charge 5%+VAT for lots bought via their platform. Internet bidding charges will be added to the invoice you receive from Hampstead Auctions. Bidding by Proxy, Commission and Telephone Bids

Telephone bids must be booked prior to 8.30pm on the day before the sale. Once the telephone bid has been booked, a member of our staff will call you from the saleroom a few minutes before the lot comes up for auction and will then bid on your behalf as instructed.

Commission bids can be entered by filling in a commission bid form at our offices prior to the sale. Commission bids are also accepted by email. If you enter a commission bid by email and receive confirmation your bid has been entered, you need take no further action. If you do not receive a reply, we have not received your bid and you should contact us by phone on 020 7431 9445 immediately to ensure your bid is registered.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you bid on the correct lot number and to satisfy yourself as to the authenticity and condition of any lot prior to bidding. All sales are final and any disputes will be settled at the auctioneers absolute discretion.

By registering to bid you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions which can be viewed on this website and at our offices.

Payment and Collection

All purchased lots must be paid for in full and collected by midday on the Saturday following the sale. Penalties apply for late payment and / or collection. Please see our terms and conditions for details.

We accept payment by cash, cheque, bank draft, bank transfer, American Express, debit card or credit card
